Gore Range Trail (oil on canvas) 16x20

Usually I tend to 'work small.' The bulk of my paintings are either 8x10 or 11x14. I have worked larger but they are the exception rather than the rule. Many of my larger paintings were done first smaller and then redone on a larger scale. It allows one the opportunity to experiment with the composition as well as colors without the commitment to the larger canvas. This painting's 'preview ' has been sold and not available. The the larger painting-above- is a view while hiking on a trail in the Gore Range in Colorado.
